On Petőfi Sándor utca since 1987

Aurum began as a small goldsmith's workshop in downtown Budapest, opened by master goldsmith Ferenc Halmos in 1987. His daughter Júlia, a gemmologist, later brought certified diamonds, coloured gemstones and fine watches into the shop.

Today a team of twelve — goldsmiths, a stone setter, a gemmologist and our own watchmaker — works in the salon and the workshop behind it, where every Aurum Atelier ring and pendant is made by hand.
