About us

We started in a Budapest garage

Forrpont was founded in 2014 by two electrical-engineering students tired of waiting weeks for a single sensor from abroad. Today we run a 400 m² warehouse and pick-up counter on Fehérvári út with more than 12,000 parts in stock.

We test everything we sell

Our own Forrpont Labs boards are flashed and tested one by one; we use the soldering stations, meters and printers ourselves. Every product comes with a Hungarian description, pinout and datasheet where available.

Schools and makerspaces

More than 140 schools and community workshops buy from us, with classroom kits, bank transfer and 15-day terms. Every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm our workshop is open for group builds.
