About us
A gallery on Múzeum utca
Lenyomat Gallery opened in 2017 in Budapest's Palace District, behind the National Museum, in a former print shop. Exhibition space, print studio and framing workshop share one roof.
We publish limited, numbered and signed editions by contemporary Hungarian photographers, painters and illustrators — half of the revenue goes to the artist — and restore public-domain maps, illustrations and satellite images for our Lenyomat Archive. Prints are made with 12-colour pigment inks on acid-free cotton rag and baryta papers; frames are hand-mitred from solid oak and beech. Open Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 7 pm, admission free.
