One wooden spoon, one cauldron, one city-centre kitchen

Fakanál Bistro opened in 2019 on Klauzál utca, in a former canteen. We cook food we would happily eat at home — from honest ingredients, to order, without rushing.

Every morning starts at the Klauzál tér market hall. Our buns come from the bakery next door, our beer from a Szentendre brewery, our wine from a family winery in Eger. Our own couriers deliver in insulated boxes, averaging 35 minutes in the inner districts. Every dish lists the 14 major allergens, and a third of the menu is vegetarian or vegan.
